Hi, I’m Ryan VanDyke I’m a UX designer at AWS where I deliver impactful user experiences in the edge security space. Outside the office, I play ice hockey, read sci-fi novels, keep up with my Goldendoodle puppy, savor Seattle’s culinary scene, and explore the PNW with my wife, Megan. Before returning to AWS, I focused on identity & security at Rippling 🢂 and led the design for Meta’s Infrastructure Cloud Service Platform. Prior to that, my first stint at Amazon enabled me to bring Figma 🢂 to the designers of AWS & Amazon, delve into people management, design and launch a new AWS service 🢂, design shopping experiences that enabled the use of SNAP benefits for groceries, and design consumer electronic product comparison experiences. Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, I spent the first seven years of my career at the award-winning design agencies Carnevale and VisualHero.
